President Tinubu calls for reform of global financial architecture at Africa Forward Summit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for a comprehensive reform of the global financial architecture to support Africa’s economic growth and development.

The President made the call while speaking at the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.

President Tinubu stressed the need for fairer financial systems, improved access to development financing, and stronger international support for African economies to address infrastructure deficits, poverty, and economic inequality.

He noted that African countries require more inclusive global financial policies capable of unlocking investment opportunities, promoting industrialisation, and accelerating sustainable development across the continent.

The Nigerian leader also emphasised the importance of partnerships, innovation, and economic reforms in positioning Africa for long-term prosperity and global competitiveness.
