JAMB RELEASES 279 RESULTS PREVIOUSLY HELD

Abuja, Nigeria — May 22, 2026

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released 279 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results that were previously withheld for further investigation.

In a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, the Board said the release followed ongoing investigations into cases of suspected examination malpractice.
According to the statement, some results were, however, outrightly cancelled after evidence of malpractice was established against the affected candidates.

JAMB further explained that results from centres where its live monitoring team detected suspicious activities remain withheld pending the conclusion of investigations.
The Board advised candidates whose results have not yet been released to check their status by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration to access their released results.

JAMB reiterated its commitment to maintaining the integrity and credibility of the examination process while ensuring fairness to all candidates.
