JOIN APC TO SUSTAIN THE ONGOING SOCIO- ECONOMIC, INFRASTRUCTURAL, AND INDUSTRIAL TRANSFORMATION STATE AND IJEBULAND

As the All Progressives Congress (APC) nationwide electronic registration and revalidation exercise commenced today, Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in Ogun State, Hon. Otunba OlaDapo Okubadejo called for strong grassroots mobilisation. The exercise runs throughout January 2026. The residents across Ogun State and Ijebuland, mostly Ijebu-Ode LGA and her surrounding communities, should visit their respective APC Ward Secretariats with their National Identification Number and Permanent Voter’s Card for quick E-registration.

The electronic registration will strengthen party records, prevent duplication, and prepare the party for the 2027 general elections. Leaders and stakeholders across all regions have been charged to encourage youths and new members to embrace the process so their voices count in the upcoming future political party and general elections.

Hon. Prince OlaDapo Okubadejo has continued to draw attention to visible progress recorded under the Ogun State Government led by His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun MFR. CON., across Ogun State and Ijebuland but mostly Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area, residents see steady improvement through road construction, urban renewal, and economic projects that touch daily life. He highlighted major road projects across Ijebu-Ode; Idomowo, Ojofa, Ayegun down to Ashafa Street in Degun, Olisa down to Saka Ashiru and Epe Garage, Awujale Palace Road, Oke Aje Road, Stadium Road down to Idomila Junction, Ijebu-Ode Club Road, completion of Igbeba Road, St. Anthony down to Yidi and Paramount Cinema Junction, Awokoya Road, Luba Road, Molipa Express, Abeokuta Road to Obalende Road, and several others. Ongoing works include Tam Balogun Street and Osinubi-Araromi Road.

Beyond roads, Hon. Okubadejo pointed to the regeneration of the GRA Housing Estate in Igbeba, the upgrade of Ijebu-Ode Technical College, and the Ijebu Economic Development Cluster along the Ijebu-Ode–Epe Expressway. This cluster hosts the newly approved Inland Dry Port and a Federal Government rail line designed to improv the movement of goods and support business growth. He also pointed to the forthcoming full renovation of Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium and the just approved construction of Itanrin Sabo Road linking the area beside Ijebu-Ode Central Mosque, which has just started.

According to Hon. Otunba Okubadejo, these projects reflect deliberate leadership choices and clear direction. He stressed unity as a core value and warned against factional divisions. He stated that opportunities within government flow through party structure and confirmed support for many constituents into state and federal employment. He pledged continued service through active and people-focused representation. He urged all Ogun State citizens and Ijebuland, mostly the good people of Ijebu-Ode local government area, to deepen political participation by joining the All Progressives Congress.(APC), He explained that governance reflects the people who choose leaders and stay involved. Political parties serve as the channel through which leaders emerge and policies gain direction. Active membership gives citizens a voice in decision-making and leadership selection.

Hon. Otunba OlaDapo Okubadejo called on youths, women, professionals, traders, and artisans to take part peacefully, respect institutions, and register with the party APC, collect party cards, and secure PVCs. He stressed that voting places real power in the hands of citizens to choose leaders that serve and protect them diligently, and effectively, who deliver roads, schools, security, and jobs without personal aggrandisement and unnecessary arrogance.
