NAHCON Raises Alarm Over Delayed Payment of 2026 Hajj Fare

Despite recent successes, NAHCON has raised serious concerns over the slow pace of payments for the 2026 Hajj fare. The commission warns that delays in fare remittance by intending pilgrims and states’ pilgrim welfare boards could hinder early planning and logistics for the next pilgrimage season.

In a press statement, NAHCON urged stakeholders to prioritize timely payment to avoid disruptions. “Early payment is crucial to securing accommodation, flights, and other essential services under the best possible terms,” the statement read.

With international demand for Hajj services growing annually, NAHCON emphasized that proactive financial commitment is essential for Nigeria to maintain its improved Hajj operations.
