Gov. Ododo Greets Christians at Christmas, Harps on Peace, Unity

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christians across the state, describing the celebration of the Nativity as a solemn reminder of selfless love, humility, and devotion to the service of humanity.
In a goodwill message conveyed through his Special Adviser on Media, Hon. Ismaila Isah, the Governor reflected on the deep spiritual significance of the Christmas season, noting that the birth of Jesus Christ calls on believers to embrace patience, forbearance, goodwill, and other virtues that promote harmony and peaceful coexistence within society.
Governor Ododo observed that the timeless lessons of Christmas remain crucial to the growth and development of Kogi State. He urged citizens to uphold the spirit of brotherhood, restraint, and collective responsibility as essential pillars for sustaining peace, unity, and progress across the state.
According to him, his administration remains firmly guided by these enduring values in the pursuit of good governance, maintenance of public order, and the steady advancement of Kogi State. He emphasized that the government’s policies are inclusive and deliberately designed to improve the well-being of the people.
The Governor further reassured residents that the security and welfare of the populace remain top priorities of his administration, pledging continued commitment to safeguarding lives and livelihoods in all parts of the state.
He prayed that the joy of Christmas would dwell in every household across Nigeria, rekindle hope in the hearts of the people, and usher the nation into a New Year characterized by peace, diligence, unity, and shared prosperity.
