President Tinubu Arrives Abu Dhabi Ahead of 2026 Sustainability Summit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday arrived in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, to participate in the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW).
The Nigerian leader was received at the Presidential Wing of Zayed International Airport by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, who welcomed him on behalf of the Emirati government.
President Tinubu’s visit underscores Nigeria’s growing engagement with global partners on issues of sustainable development, climate action, energy transition, and economic diversification. Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is a major international platform that convenes world leaders, policymakers, investors, and experts to advance sustainable development initiatives and foster international cooperation.
During the week-long event, President Tinubu is expected to engage in high-level discussions and interactions aimed at promoting Nigeria’s development priorities, attracting investment, and strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates.
The 2026 ADSW brings together global stakeholders to explore innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing environmental and economic challenges, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s role as a hub for sustainability dialogue and action.
