8 BRIGADE OPERATIONALISATION TO STRENGTHEN SECURITY, STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION IN SOUTH-WEST

The operationalisation of 8 Brigade, Nigerian Army, is expected to strengthen security operations and enhance collaboration among security agencies, traditional institutions, government authorities and communities across the South-West.

The development forms part of ongoing efforts by the Nigerian Army to improve its operational presence and response capabilities in areas facing emerging security challenges. The brigade is expected to support the protection of lives and property while contributing to efforts to prevent criminal activities and maintain peace across its area of responsibility.
