CUSTOMS HONOURS DCG NNADI, ACG EGWU AT CEREMONIAL PULLING-OUT PARADE

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has honoured retiring Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs, Dera Nnadi, and Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs, Kingsley Egwu, with a ceremonial Pulling-Out Parade in recognition of their decades of dedicated service to the nation.
The colourful ceremony was held at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College in Gwagwalada, bringing together members of the Customs management team, senior officers, colleagues, family members, and well-wishers to celebrate the careers of the retiring officers. (thispagenewspaper.org.ng)
Speaking during the event, the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, described the occasion as an opportunity for the Service to recognize the professional contributions, discipline, and commitment demonstrated by the officers throughout their years in service. The CGC, who was represented by the Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs in charge of Training and Doctrine Command, Sulaiman Chiroma, commended DCG Nnadi for his outstanding leadership and strategic contributions to Customs operations, particularly in areas where revenue generation, trade facilitation, and border security intersect.

According to the CGC, Egwu’s tenure as the 10th Commandant of the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College was marked by a strong emphasis on discipline, professional knowledge, and ethical conduct, which helped shape the training and development of many officers in the Service.
