March 18, 2026, Kano, Nigeria

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has conducted a National Single Window End User Training for its staff in the North-West Zone, as part of the ongoing Pilot Testing and User Acceptance Testing phase of the platform.

The training, which held last week in Kano, brought together NAFDAC personnel to evaluate the effectiveness of the National Single Window system in supporting real-time operational processes.

According to the agency, the exercise was designed to validate the platform’s ability to handle end-to-end workflows, ranging from initial application processes to final inspection stages. The initiative forms a critical component of efforts to enhance efficiency, transparency, and coordination in regulatory operations.

The National Single Window platform is expected to streamline interactions between government agencies and stakeholders, reduce bottlenecks, and improve service delivery within the regulatory ecosystem.

NAFDAC noted that insights gathered from the pilot phase will inform further improvements and ensure the system meets operational requirements before full-scale implementation.
