APC Releases Revised Timetable for 2027 Elections, Sets Presidential Form at ₦100m

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 General Elections, outlining key dates and fees for aspirants across various positions.
The revised schedule, signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, includes adjustments to timelines for screening, appeals, and primary elections, as well as directives on the sale of nomination forms.
According to the timetable, the cost of the Expression of Interest and Nomination Form for presidential aspirants has been fixed at ₦100 million, while governorship forms will cost ₦50 million. Senate aspirants are to pay ₦20 million, House of Representatives ₦10 million, and State House of Assembly ₦6 million.
The party also provided details of approved bank accounts for payments related to the purchase of forms.
All primary elections are scheduled to hold between May 15 and May 23, 2026, while the submission of completed forms is expected to close on May 4, 2026.
The APC stated that the revised timetable is part of its preparations to ensure a smooth, transparent, and well-coordinated process ahead of the 2027 general elections.
