18 Nigerian Students Secure $2 Million Scholarships to Study at Berklee College of Music

Eighteen Nigerian students have been awarded scholarships worth over $2 million through an initiative led by music star Tiwa Savage in partnership with Berklee College of Music.
The programme, which ran for five days from April 22 to April 26, 2026, brought together 120 of Nigeria’s most promising emerging artists, including songwriters and music producers, for intensive world-class training and mentorship.
The initiative is aimed at nurturing young Nigerian talent and providing them with global exposure in music education and industry practices.
Following the selection process, 18 outstanding participants were awarded full scholarships to study for three years at Berklee College of Music, one of the world’s leading institutions for contemporary music education.
The programme is expected to strengthen Nigeria’s creative industry pipeline while opening international opportunities for young artists in music production, performance, and songwriting.
