TINUBU RECEIVES LAGOS GAC, SANWO-OLU AS HAMZAT PRESENTS APC NOMINATION FORM

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday received members of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), led by Tajudeen Olusi, alongside the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The meeting, held in Abuja, brought together key political stakeholders from Lagos State as consultations ahead of future political activities continue within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During the meeting, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State and APC governorship aspirant, Obafemi Hamzat, formally presented his APC governorship nomination form to the President.
The development signals Hamzat’s official entry into the race for the Lagos State governorship under the APC platform, as political alignments begin to take shape ahead of the next electoral cycle.
The presence of the GAC, widely regarded as an influential decision-making body in Lagos politics, underscores the significance of the engagement within the party’s leadership structure.
