ADC fixes ₦100m presidential nomination form, releases 2026 primary timetable

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), led by David Mark, has announced the cost of its nomination forms and schedule for the 2026 primary elections ahead of the 2027 general polls.
According to the party, the presidential nomination form has been pegged at ₦100 million, while governorship aspirants are expected to pay ₦50 million.
The timetable released by the party indicates that primaries for State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, and Senate seats will hold on May 21, 2026, followed by governorship primaries on May 22, 2026. The presidential primary is scheduled for May 25, 2026.
Further breakdown of the nomination fees shows that senatorial aspirants will pay ₦20 million, House of Representatives aspirants ₦10 million, while those seeking seats in State Houses of Assembly will pay ₦3 million.
The announcement signals the party’s early preparations and strategic positioning as political activities begin to intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
