NNPC, Sonatrach Sign MoU to Boost Research and Innovation in Oil & Gas

Nigeria’s national oil company, NNPC Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sonatrach, the Algerian National Oil Company, to strengthen collaboration in research, development, and innovation within the oil and gas sector.

The agreement, executed through NNPC Limited’s Research, Technology and Innovation (RTI) Division in partnership with the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), marks a strategic step toward advancing technological capabilities and knowledge exchange between both countries.

The MoU is aimed at fostering joint research initiatives, promoting innovation, and enhancing capacity development across key areas of the oil and gas value chain.
