Power Minister Inaugurates Siemens Mobile Substations in Lagos & Kebbi

In a significant move to bolster Nigeria’s power infrastructure, the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has inaugurated Siemens mobile substations in Lagos and Birnin Kebbi. These substations are part of the ongoing efforts under the Federal Government-Government Siemens deal aimed at strengthening the country’s transmission network.

The newly installed mobile substations, equipped with cutting-edge technology, signify a beacon of hope for both businesses and households, promising improved access to uninterrupted power supply. With a total wheeling capacity of 123 megawatts, these substations are expected to significantly enhance electricity supply in their respective regions.
