“I AM PRIVILEGED TO BE COMMANDER AT THIS TIME…” SAYS COMMANDER, CORPS OF MEDICAL

The Commander, Corps of Medical,
Brigadier General I. A. Enwuchola, has charged the newly promoted Colonels of the Corps to redouble their efforts and uphold the highest standards of professionalism in order to justify the confidence reposed in them. He gave this charge today during a decoration ceremony held at the Corps Headquarters, Bonny Cantonment, Lagos.
In his remarks, Brigadier General Enwuchola reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Nigerian Army Medical Corps to pursue excellence in all facets of its operations. He noted that the series of promotions approved for the Corps this year by the Chief of Army Staff reflects the trust, recognition, and appreciation of the Corps’ invaluable contributions to the Nigerian Army.
According to him, “I am privileged to be Commander at this time, and it is inspiring to witness the dedication and sacrifice that define the officers of this Corps. Your elevation today is a call to even greater responsibility and service to our nation.”
Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the newly decorated officers, the representative of the promoted Colonels expressed profound gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu. He noted that the promotion serves not only as an individual honour but a collective motivation to further advance the mission and vision of the Nigerian Army Medical Corps. He also appreciated the Commander, Corps of Medical, for his steadfast support and exemplary leadership, emphasizing that the promotion represents a renewed call to service and dedication.
Special guests at the ceremony included Colonel O. T. Obajobi (Rtd); Mr. Richard Obioha, Chief Executive Officer, Cargo Solutions Lagos; as well as the Commandants of both Nigerian Army Medical Corps training schools.
