Ibadan, February 12, 2026
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) in Oyo State have inaugurated Local Government Area (LGA) coordinators as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilization and promote a positive image of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ayomiku Ajibola reports that the inauguration ceremony, conducted by the South-West Zonal Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, marked a strategic step toward consolidating the group’s grassroots structures in preparation for the next electoral cycle.
Speaking at the event, Oyo State Ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda and former governorship candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin, charged the newly inaugurated coordinators to mobilise, organise, and energise party members, supporters, and voters across wards and polling units in support of President Tinubu’s re-election bid and the overall victory of the APC in Oyo State.
Senator Folarin urged the coordinators to work in full synergy with established APC structures and party leaders at all levels, stressing the need to respect party hierarchy and strengthen internal cohesion within the party.
He reiterated that part of the collective mandate of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors is to deliver at least a 35 per cent improvement on the APC’s 2023 presidential election results in the state during the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by APC executives, party leaders, stakeholders, and members drawn from across the state, underscoring the party’s renewed commitment to grassroots engagement and strategic political organization.
