First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Launches North-West Zone of ECoN Initiative, Commissions Road Projects in Kano

The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, has launched the North-West zone of the “Energise Commercialisation Now” (ECoN) initiative and commissioned key road projects in Kano State.

The event marks a significant step in efforts to promote economic empowerment, support small businesses, and enhance infrastructure development across the region. The ECoN initiative is designed to stimulate commercial activities by providing opportunities for enterprise growth, innovation, and access to markets.

Speaking at the event, the First Lady emphasized the importance of empowering local entrepreneurs, particularly women and youth, as a means of driving inclusive economic development.
